LORELAI: Yes…

LUKE: I totally understand…

LUKE: But if you could ah…

LORELAI: Yes I’ll do it.

LUKE: Yeah, okay alright well this is my lawyers address and if you could just mail the letter directly to him.

RORY: But your not telling him about this character reference thing are you.

RORY: You’re potentially not telling him that kinda a lie by omission.

LORELAI: A lie of omission, isn’t that an Ashley Judd/Morgan Freeman movie.

RORY: Listen mom if there is anything I have learnt from this whole thing with Lucy is honesty is the best policy.

LORELAI: Ah it’s an okay policy.

RORY: But how are you meant to have some kind of relationship with him if you’re not honest with him.

LORELAI: Honey look I’ve been around a long time okay, I wore leggings the last time they were trendy and I knew Tom Hanks when he was a Bosom Buddy, I have lived and I have learnt.
