What I loved about Michel was his talk as they are on the way to Luke's, OMG this whole Chin-Chin death was nothing more than a metaphor for the death of the C&L marriage.
Lorelai choosing (soon) the home town over the fancy food, the music, even the picture looking fine to the naked eye but when you look close you see the blemishes (problems).
I say well done DSR, one out of 14 is not so bad (well maybe 2-3),
Also there is big error in the fact Lorelai is not wearing the wedding ring in the music shop and after on the street with Michel. It's had to see if she is wearing it in her last 2 scenes.

Sad - Final 2 with Lorelai realising her marriage is over.
Funny - The hospital with the 3 girls and Richard walking down the hall.
